Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Uniqou (uniqou.in), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users of Uniqou.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Uniqou. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Uniqou is intended for current or recent college students in India. All activities on Uniqou are digital — we do not organize offline or in-person events.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate information when creating your profile. You may not create accounts for others or impersonate any person. Notify us immediately at hello@uniqou.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Uniqou only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users.
• Share spam, unsolicited promotions, or irrelevant content.
• Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
• Post content that is obscene, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law.
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without permission.

5. Content You Post

You own the content you post on Uniqou. By posting, you grant Uniqou a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform. You are solely responsible for what you post. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

6. Connections and Messaging

Uniqou uses a mutual connection system — both users must accept before a connection is established. Messaging is only available between mutually connected users. Do not use the messaging system to harass or spam other users.

7. Intellectual Property

The Uniqou name, logo, and platform design are owned by Uniqou. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding without written permission. User-generated content remains the property of the respective users.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@uniqou.in. Upon termination, your profile and posts will be removed from public view.

9. Limitation of Liability

Uniqou is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any collaboration outcomes, disputes between users, or losses arising from use of the platform. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access to the service.

10. Disputes Between Users

Uniqou is not responsible for resolving disputes between users. If you have a serious complaint about another user's conduct, contact us at hello@uniqou.in and we will review the situation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Uniqou after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in West Bengal, India.
